      About CBD

      What is CBD?

Cannabidiol(CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound extracted from the hemp plant and is commonly found in two forms: Full Spectrum (distillate) & Pure CBD Isolate.

      What is Full Spectrum CBD?

Full Spectrum CBD means the product contains an array of cannabinoids, phytocannabinoids and terpenes. The makeup of these compounds is determined by the strain of hemp used to create full spectrum distillate.  Some plants may be higher in cannabinoids, like CBN and CBG, than others. Full spectrum products also contain THC, but less than 0.3% as required by law.  Studies have shown that using full spectrum CBD may further enhance the effect of the cannabinoids. This is called the “entourage effect”.

What is Pure CBD or isolate?

CBD isolate is an extract made of pure cannabidiol (CBD) without any other cannabinoids, like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Pure CBD is “isolated” from 99% of anything else in the plant, including matter, fats, oils, lipids, terpenes, and other cannabinoids. Consequently, pure CBD isolate is non-psychoactive.  Isolate typically comes in a powder or slab form and can be used for a number of purposes.

What is the source of our CBD?

Our CBD comes from CBD-rich hemp plants that are grown right here in Colorado using only organic farming practices. We use pesticide-free soil, no chemicals herbicides nor any non-organic pesticides. Our hemp cultivation center is certified by the Department of Agriculture and approved by the Denver Department of Health.

How do we craft our CBD?

We craft each CBD product in small batches and with the Endocannabinoid system in mind, which is why we offer full spectrum varieties of nearly every product we make. This system exists in humans and all other vertebrate animals. We only use inert compounds in our refining process in contrast to many foreign and domestic producers, who use a refining process that involves chemicals which can be harmful to your health and the environment.

How does CBD interact with the body?

CBD stimulates the endocannabinoid system which is responsible for maintaining homeostasis in the body.
